About The Role::
As a Cargo Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for setting the QR Cargo pricing guidelines for the origin regions and you will steer the sales organization to sell the right flows on the various O&Ds (origins-destinations) and at the right price, in order to maximize the network margins. You will also help to execute the allocation planning process.
Key Accountability :
Pricing
·
Review and provide the market rates proposed
by cargo sales for the origin regions he/she is responsible for (online/offline
station).

Determine the minimum selling rate (for
pricing agreements) for all the relevant origins & destinations (O & D)
for the origin regions he/she is responsible for and propose rate increase to
the sales organization of his/her region in case of need (capacity reduction,
change of trends etc).

Analyse market trends, historic information
and industry benchmark (IATA, CASS and World ACD report) to determine the
pricing guidelines.

Monitor the cost involved in transporting the
cargo from origin to destination and make sure all rates are covering variable
cost.

Coordinate with the cargo revenue management
teams to guarantee that the rates for his/her region are consistent with the
entry condition levels of the flights.

Assist the Senior Pricing Officer in reviewing
the customer’s request for quotations.
Performance Analysis & Reporting

Identify causes hampering optimal pricing
optimisation and process corrective actions.
·
Regularly report to senior cargo pricing
officer and cargo pricing manager on the pricing performance of the region,
including updates on actions taken to improve the performance.
About You:
To be successful, you will hold a Bachelor’s
Degree. A Master’s Degree or additional specialisation in pricing or
revenue management will be looked upon favourably. It is essential that
you have a minimum 4 years job-related experience. Any previous
experience in Cargo Pricing or in another Cargo Commercial department (sales,
revenue management or customer service) will also be considered.
Excellent communication in written and spoken
English is a must. Strong MS Office ability is also essential. A
solid understanding of cargo operational and commercial processes and IATA/TACT
regulations will also be helpful to make you succeed in this role. You
must have exceptional analytical skills for this role.
