About Your Job:
We are looking for
an organised Senior Baggage Services agent to join our team in
London, Heathrow.
You will be involved in providing a five star
assistance to our passengers whose luggage may have been mishandled, issue
reports, trace and endeavor to restore the missing baggage to the rightful
owner as soon as possible to achieve customer satisfaction. In this role, you
are responsible to handle all baggage operations, attend with efficiency to
passengers, raise reports through World Tracer System. You will
also respond professionally to enquiries while providing excellent
customer service.
Daily tasks will include:
Reporting operational problems to the supervisors and ensure support to them in smooth handling of baggage operations at the arrival terminal and transfer baggage areas.
Briefing and debriefing the team on a shift
basis.
Monitoring and coordinating with GHA for bags
ensuring all security items are handled properly.
Resolving customer complaints effectively
liaising on a daily basis with all departments including customer relations to
provide resolution for complaint handling.
Responding directly to customers on queries
about mishandled baggage.
Preparing monthly updates, amending world
tracer reports to ensure quality of information captured as per company
protocol to facilitate baggage tracing and claims settlement.
About You:
You must have a relevant Vocational, Tertiary
or Trade qualification with job-related experience within an airline of a
Ground Handling agent.
You must have excellent communication skills
and have the ability of working under pressure.
You will also have solid knowledge of
HAQIBA / World Tracer / BRS / Altea DCS systems.
