About The Job:
As a Senior Development and Planning Engineer you ensure fleet airworthiness and maintenance efficiency to achieve optimal availability while maintaining required level of safety.
You will also verify fleet compliance with regulatory
requirements
You will be responsible for the effective management
of personnel and technical activities within the respective scope of your
duties.
Key accountabilities include:
Operational
You will: -
·
Evaluate technical documentation issued by
airworthiness authorities, aircraft manufacturer and vendors in order to
evaluate its application and impact on fleet airworthiness, aircraft
reliability, maintainability and safety;
·
Recommend changes to CAME (Continuing Airworthiness
Management Exposition) in order to maintain regulatory compliance and improve
department efficiency;
·
Create or amend the Aircraft Maintenance Program (AMP)
and follow-up its approval with QCAA to comply with regulatory requirements,
manufacturer and reliability recommendations;
·
Effectively Manage open deferred items in the fleet,
review with management and arrange rectification with maintenance providers in
a timely manner and minimizing operational impact
·
Plan and develop the Long Term Fleet Maintenance
Plan in order to comply with approved Maintenance Program requirements and
optimize fleet utilization,;
·
Analyze new or proposed regulations in order to
highlight and reduce any possible impact in Company operation;
·
Review Service data (or equivalent documents) or
other Modifications, as issued by Manufacturers, Vendors or Part 21
organizations, in order to evaluate applicability and cost/benefits to
the fleet and control the Work Order Request or Task Card issuing to Part 145,
in order to for the completion of any required modifications/upgrades
·
Provide technical assistance to Part 145 contracted
maintenance organizations and follow-up progress of maintenance work orders to
comply with required maintenance standards and control ARC (Airworthiness
Review Certificate) extension and renewal process, taking necessary
actions for successful certification, in order to safeguard fleet airworthiness
Deputy Role
You will support the Part M manager, as a deputy,
supporting as required
About You:
Qualifications:
Essential
·
Degree in Aeronautical , Mechanical or Electronics
Engineering or Equivalent
·
EASA part 66 B1,B2 or C Licensed Aircraft Engineer
with 3 years certifying experience
·
Good Knowledge of English Language , written or spoken
Preferred
·
Experience with corporate / business / charter
operations
·
Experience
·
Expert – Minimum 7 years of job related experience
required
·
5 years in Aircraft Maintenance or Planning in an EASA
part M or Part 145 organization or
·
5 years in Aircraft
Engineering Organization
·
Experience in MS Office Suite ( Word, Excel and Power
Point )
·
Experience with QCAA, EASA, FAA and Transport Canada
